Outpatient Therapeutic Services
ACP is committed to offering a diverse range of therapy approaches, including individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy, to clients across the lifespan. This holistic approach ensures that clients of all ages receive tailored care that meets their unique needs and circumstances.
Medication Management Services
ACP offers telehealth medication services, enabling community members to access healthcare from anywhere. Initially, clients must attend their first appointment at an ACP office using our telecommunications equipment. Subsequent appointments can be done remotely via phone or computer.
Domestic Violence Services
We are available to provide services to both Perpetrators and Victims of domestic violence with individual and group therapy.
Substance Abuse Services
ACP providesĀ support and help for those suffering from addiction using services such as Assessments, IOT, Individual and Family therapy, as well as Group therapy.
Diagnostic Evaluations-Psychological Evaluations
Our psychologists conduct comprehensive evaluations to provide diagnostic clarification and treatment recommendations, covering a wide range of psychological concerns such as ADHD, Autism, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, and Personality Disorders. For clients with Medicaid and some commercial insurance plans, an initial intake assessment is necessary to gather clinical information for insurance authorization. Although Medicaid frequently denies authorization for these testing services, our team is dedicated to meeting all necessary requirements to obtain approval for our clients, ensuring they receive the comprehensive care and support they need.
School Based Services
ACP contracts with various local schools to provide individual therapy services to children during the school day. We currently have therapists providing services at Floyd Knobs Elementary School, Georgetown Elementary School, Highland Hills Middle School, Grant Line Elementary School, and Salem Community Schools. These referrals are initiated by a school counselor at each location.
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Services
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an evidence-based treatment approach shown to help children, adolescents, and their parents (or other caregivers) overcome trauma-related difficulties, including child maltreatment.
EMDR
Quite a few of the providers that work alongside ACP are trained in EMDR, which stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. EMDR is form of psychotherapy that was originally designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
